The Terrace and Aitkin County Friends of the Arts presents “The Kids are Alright”\, an ongoing showcase featuring young artists and musicians around the region creating innovative or interesting approaches to performing arts. \nShowcase 3 – August 16\, 7-9pm\, doors open 6pm …. \nMVRROW (8pm) is a 6 piece hard core metal/rock band from the Brainerd Lakes Area consisting of Paige on vocals\, Hunter on guitar\, Jon on bass\, James on guitar\, Laura on keyboard and Drew on drums. \n2003UB313 (7pm) is a group of friends playing screamy punk rock mixed with a little math and a whole lot of energy. Delivering a dynamic and engaging live show that is just plain fun\, onlookers become participants\, fans become friends\, and days are filled with more hope. \nTickets: “Pay What You Can” \nYou can either pay the suggested $10 here right now\, or on the day of the show. Or\, pay whatever you can or want to at the show. Maybe it’s more\, maybe it’s less. It’s up to you.
